The Stepping On Falls Prevention Program is a FREE, exciting and friendly community based falls prevention program for seniors (people over 65 years of age)
It is designed to build knowledge, strength and confidence to prevent falls and stay active and independent
Programs are held throughout the year excluding public holidays
The course runs for 7 weeks, 2 hours per week with a booster session 2 months later. Morning tea or afternoon tea are provided
The course combines gentle strength and balance exercise with educational sessions by trained health professionals.

Participants who would not be suitable for the program:
Particpants with neurological impairment and dementia or using walking frame continuously.
All particpants however are individually assessed for entry into the program
Special requirements or conditions:
Particpants should wear closed in flat shoes
