Stepping On is a seven-week group-based program designed for people who are living at home and have experienced a fall or are concerned about falling.
Stepping On is free for adults over the age of 65 years or Aboriginal adults over the age of 45 years.
It covers a range of topics, including falls and risk, strength and balance exercises, home hazards, safe footwear, vision and falls, safety in public places and community mobility. The program is delivered in weekly two-hour sessions for seven weeks.

Languages class is taught in:
Vietnamese, Cantonese, Mandarin, Greek, Italian
Participants who would not be suitable for the program:
• People with dementia, cognitive impairment or progressive neurological diseases
• People who rely on a walking frame within their home (use of a frame or walking aid outdoors is accepted)
• People living in residential aged care facilities
Stepping On is a once only program - previous participants are not eligible to join.
Special requirements or conditions:
Participants should wear comfortable clothing and appropriate footwear to exercise in.
