Program details
StandingTall is a home-based exercise program designed to improve mobility and prevent falls.
Delivered through an app on Android or Apple tablets, the program provides 800+ balance, strength, and heart health exercises, personalised to your abilities. Each exercise is guided by clear visual demonstrations and audio instructions, making it easy to follow at your own pace. The program automatically adjusts exercises over time as you progress or your fitness levels change.
Proven to prevent falls and injuries from falls by 20%, StandingTall supports living actively and independently.

Cost:
One month free trial followed by $30 per month via subscription on the Google Play or Apple Play Stores. The subscription cost directly supports fall prevention research.

Special requirements or conditions:
For all exercises, you will need a sturdy chair for support.
For balance exercises, you will also need a balance pad, which acts as an unstable surface. You can use a chair cushion, a folded towel or a piece of foam large enough to fit both feet in a comfortable stance. Make sure the equipment is stable and safe to use.
For strength exercises, you will need a set of dumbbells or any household item like a can of beans or water bottles that are easy to hold. Occasionally, some exercises will require you to use a wall for support.
