Program details

Every ActiveStrongerBetter session includes a warm up, an aerobic conditioning segment, some resistance work to build muscle capacity, interactive activity to build co-ordination and social engagement.

Our 45minute sessions include a challenge to balance and stability through a range of strategies. Exercises are low-moderate intensity with options to make it easier and harder.

Each session concludes with a gentle cool down and static flexibility phase.

Tuesdays and Thursdays

• 10:15am to 11:00am

$8 per class/visit (or included in discounted membership - enquire at centre)

Target age:

50 Plus

Participants who would not be suitable for the program:

If you require a support worker in every day activities, then the support worker should attend and exercise with you.

Minimum experience:

Beginner

Leader qualifications:

Fitness Leader - Registered Cert IV
