Program details

This program is designed specifically for older adults to improve balance, coordination, strength, and confidence in everyday movement.

Led by qualified physiotherapists and exercise physiologists with over 10 years of experience working with seniors, each session includes evidence-based exercises that target balance reactions, lower limb strength, and functional mobility to reduce the risk of falls. 

Classes are tailored to individual ability levels, with modifications provided for safety and comfort. 

Sessions run for 45 - 60 minutes.

Opening hours:

Tuesdays

  • 10:00am
  • 2:00pm

Thursdays

  • 10:00am

Each class runs for 45 - 60 minutes.

Classes may be rescheduled or cancelled on Public Holidays or due to unforeseen circumstances.

 

Cost:

$15 per session per class/visit
Free first class for new participants to trial the program

Discounts / Special Offers: 10% discount when purchasing a 10-class pass upfront
Exercise classes are eligible to be claimed via certain Health Fund rebates (depending on individual cover).
Classes can also be billed directly to your Aged Care provider (where applicable).

Special requirements or conditions:

Participants are advised to wear comfortable, flexible clothing and supportive shoes suitable for exercise.
Participants are encouraged to bring water to stay hydrated during sessions.
Attendance may be limited for health or safety reasons; all participants are screened prior to starting the program.
