Program details

Join our welcoming online community and enjoy the many benefits of Chair Yoga – a gentle, accessible way to move your body and calm your mind.

This class is ideal for:

  • Older adults
  • People with limited mobility or balance challenges
  • Anyone who finds it difficult to get down to a yoga mat

Each session includes:

  • 45–50 minutes of seated yoga movements (chairasanas) to build strength, improve mobility, and support joint health
  • 5–10 minutes of guided relaxation to reduce stress and enhance wellbeing

No experience needed – options are provided throughout the class so everyone can participate safely and comfortably.

Everyone is welcome in the class including those with different abilities.

Special requirements or conditions:

Bring a sturdy chair, and any props (cushions, blankets, straps, blocks etc) that you might like to use. Wear comfortable, loose clothing. Shoes on or off - it's your choice!
