Program details

Strength for Life (1-on-1) is a fully individualised progressive resistance training program designed to support mature adults in improving strength, mobility, and long-term health through tailored, evidence-based exercise.

Delivered by university-qualified trainers, the program provides dedicated one-on-one coaching that adapts to each participants health status, physical ability, and personal goals. It is particularly suited for those managing chronic conditions, past injuries, or illness-specific needs, and for those who benefit from closer supervision and progressive, reactive adjustments to their training.

Each participant begins with a comprehensive strength and movement assessment and a free InBody body composition scan to measure baseline metabolic markers such as muscle mass and body fat percentage. A follow-up scan is provided at the end of the six-week program to track measurable improvements.

Sessions combine the use of Keiser pneumatic resistance machines, free weights, and cable equipment, allowing for smooth, joint-friendly loading and fine load adjustments. Progress is recorded and tracked through the Healthspan training app, ensuring clear visibility of each participants improvements and goals.

Training takes place in a purpose-built facility designed for mature adults, featuring easy-access Keiser equipment, supportive flooring, and a calm, welcoming environment created for safety, comfort, and long-term health outcomes.

Each session runs for 30 minutes, including a warm-up, structured resistance training, and a cool-down to promote flexibility, balance, and recovery.
