Silver Swans Ballet Program

The Silver Swans program at Glenbrook Ballet Theatre is a classical ballet class specially designed by the Royal Academy of Dance for older learners (50+), though it warmly welcomes all adults, including complete beginners and those returning to dance.

Classes focus on gentle, low-impact ballet-based exercise that improves posture, balance, coordination, mobility, strength, and flexibility in a supportive and encouraging environment. Each class includes carefully structured barre and centre work, with movements adapted to suit individual abilities and experience levels.

Our experienced teachers understand the needs of mature dancers and offer modifications and progressions to ensure everyone can move safely, confidently, and at their own pace. Chairs and support are used where required, and the emphasis is on enjoyment, wellbeing, and personal achievement rather than perfection.

Classes run for 60 minutes and may be attended weekly or casually through our flexible class pass options. Seniors discounts are available.

For those who wish, there are also optional performance opportunities, however many students simply attend for the joy of dancing and being part of a welcoming community.

The Silver Swans program is more than a ballet class its an opportunity to stay active, connect with others, and rediscover the pleasure of movement at any stage of life.

• Wednesday: 10.45 - 11.15am
• Thursdays: 8.00 - 8.30pm
• Friday: 10.15. - 10.45am
