Program details
Seated and Strong is designed for anyone who would like to improve strength and fitness, but is currently limited in mobility. Working out in a chair can still be a strenuous workout, with elements of balance, leg strength, reflexes and upper body strength included.
Instructor Judy Pilch has decades of experience teaching older adults.
Opening hours:
- 10.30 - 11.30 am during school terms.
No classes on school holidays or public holidays.
Cost:
$15 per class. Discount for those using St George Community Transport.
Target age:
50 Plus
Participants who would not be suitable for the program:
As class is seated, the use of a walking aid is no problem whatsoever.
Class members need to be able to follow teacher's instructions and examples.
Special requirements or conditions:
Comfortable clothing and water bottle, please.

Leader qualifications:
Fitness Leader - Registered Cert III
