Pickleball is a fun and social "paddle" sport that combines elements of tennis, badminton, and table tennis.
It is played on a small court with a net, using a lightweight paddle and a plastic ball with holes and is very suitable for seniors.
Opening hours:
- 9.00am to 11.00am, two Wednesdays each month.
- Program does not run on public holidays.
Cost:
Membership of U3A Hawkesbury is open to seniors and retired or semi-retired people.
The membership cost is $50 per year, which entitles members to join most programs throughout the year with no extra costs.
This particular program has a charge of $5 per session imposed by the Tennis Centre.

This program is very active, and participants should consider their general health, mobility, balance and fitness levels.
