Dive into a high-energy, low-impact workout with Aquafit4Life. Held at Proswim, this program leverages water resistance to provide a comprehensive workout that is gentle on the joints.
We combine upbeat music and sing-a-longs to create a vibrant, social atmosphere.
Class Structure (45 Minutes):
- Warm-up (10 mins): Water-based movements to increase the heart rate safely.
- Core Session: Exercises curated for heart health, balance, and increased mobility.
- Cool-down (5 mins): Gentle rhythmic movements to lower the heart rate.
All aquatic routines follow national physiotherapy guidelines, focusing on bone density and stabilization. It’s the perfect place to have fun, get fit, and make friends.
Opening hours:
- Mondays and Wednesdays, 11:00am - 11:45am

No classes are held on public holidays or during school holidays.
- Exceptions: Classes will only run during these periods if requested by more than 10 students.
Cost:
$17 per class.
Participants who would not be suitable for the program:

While these programs are specifically designed to be inclusive and adaptable for seniors, the following safety considerations apply to ensure the well-being of all participants:
• Medical Clearance: Individuals recovering from recent major surgery or those with acute cardiovascular issues should provide medical clearance before participating.
• Cognitive Support: For those with advanced dementia or significant cognitive impairment, a dedicated carer must be present to ensure the participant can safely follow instructions and enjoy the session.
• Physical Limitations: For Aquafit4Life, participants must be able to safely enter and exit the pool using the available facilities at Proswim.
Special requirements or conditions:
Participants should wear comfortable, breathable clothing suitable for movement.
Aquatic participants must wear appropriate swimwear.
Participants are encouraged to bring a water bottle and a personal towel.
