Healthy and Active for Life Online is a FREE 10-week healthy lifestyle program for adults aged 60 years* and over.
- The program will help you learn how to make small, sustainable changes in your lifestyle to improve your health.
- The program covers lots of topics including healthy eating and physical activity.
- Basic exercises are included and are suitable for beginners.
- No prior knowledge or exercise experience is required!
*Aboriginal people aged 45+ years can register.

Healthy and Active for Life Online participants receive:
- A Healthy and Active for Life Online account
- Access to weekly online healthy lifestyle modules
- Access to two online basic exercise programs for beginners
- Weekly handouts and an exercise manual
- Telephone support to keep you motivated
- Ongoing access to your account for 12 months
Who is the program for?
Who is the program for?
Healthy and Active for Life Online is for older adults who:
- Do not currently participate in a regular exercise program (excluding walking groups)
- Are living independently in the community (i.e. not in a nursing home)
- Are able to walk safely inside their home without a walking aid
What do I need to participate?

To participate in Healthy and Active for Life Online, you will need:
- Access to a computer or tablet with internet
- Space to exercise safely in your home
- Medical clearance, if you have a pre-existing condition
How do I sign up?
How do I sign up?
To sign up for the next Healthy and Active for Life Online program, follow these steps:
- Click the "Register Here" button below.
- Fill in the online form. Note, you will need your GP details to complete this form.
- You will be required to enter an email address and password at the end of the form. Note these down as these will be your log in credentials for your Healthy and Active for Life Online account.
- Click submit!
After you submit your registration form, you will be sent a confirmation email.

The 10-week Healthy and Active for Life Online program commences at the start of each school term.
What happens after I sign up?

- After you complete the Healthy and Active for Life Online registration form, you will receive an email confirming that your registration was received.
- You will receive a "Welcome Email" the week before the program starts with information about how to access the program and how to get started.
- Your Phone Coach will also contact you the week before the program starts to make sure you're ready to go!
Do I need GP clearance?

Participants who have a medical condition may be required to fill out a GP clearance form to ensure you are safe while participating in the program.
You will be notified when you complete the registration form if you require a GP clearance. If you require a GP clearance, the form will be included in your confirmation email.

After you have completed your Healthy and Active for Life Online registration form, you can login to your account by clicking the "Login to Healthy and Active for Life Online" button below.
To login:
- Use the email address and password you entered in your registration form
- If you have forgotten your password, click "I've lost my password"
- Wait to receive a password reset email
- Follow the link in the password reset email to create a new password
- Login here with your new password

To reset your password, please click here. Follow the instructions to have a password reset link sent to you. Please note this may take up to 30 minutes.
If you are having trouble resetting your password, the Healthy and Active for Life Online team can assist you over the phone. Please email MOH-ActiveAgeing@health.nsw.gov.au to request assistance.
How often is the phone coaching?
How often is the phone coaching?
You will receive a phone call about one week before the program starts to ensure you're ready for the program and can access your online account.
Phone coaching is then provided on a weekly basis for the duration of the 10-week program. If you're unable to participate in weekly phone calls, just let your phone coach know.
