Program details

Self Care Fitness delivers small group strength and fitness sessions designed to support overall health, strength, and movement quality in adults, with a strong focus on women over 50.

Sessions are run in a supportive, small group environment (maximum of 8 participants), allowing for individual guidance, exercise modifications, and progression based on each participants ability, experience level, and any physical limitations.

We offer two types of classes:

  • STRONGin40 which is strength based and runs for 40mins
  • STRONGin50 which is strength & cardio based and runs for 50mins

Each class incorporates a combination of resistance-based exercises using equipment such as dumbbells, kettlebells, sandbags, pump bars and bodyweight movements. Sessions are designed to improve strength, stability, and functional movement patterns that carry over into everyday activities.

Exercises can be modified or scaled to accommodate a wide range of fitness levels, including those returning to exercise or managing minor injuries or limitations.

The overall aim of the program is to help participants build strength, move more confidently, and improve their general wellbeing in a supportive and inclusive environment.
