Our Active and Healthy website is designed to improve health and wellbeing of older adults by supporting them to build habits that promote healthy ageing. As a health professional, you can use this website to support your patients’ health in several ways.
Refer your patients to suitable exercise programs
We’ve made it easy for health professionals to find appropriate local exercise programs for people aged 50 and over.
View exercise programs by Local Health District or search for an exercise program in your client’s or patients’ area.
How to print search results
Health professionals may find it useful to print the results of their local exercise program search. The printed version of your search results will include the name of the program, address and contact information.
Follow these steps to print your search results:
- Go to Find an Exercise Program.
- Fill out your location and select the distance from the location you wish to search.
- Click “Search Programs”.
- This will take you to the search results for your chosen area.
- Click the blue printer icon at the top of your search results.
List your exercise program on Active and Healthy
If you run an exercise program for over 50s and would like to register it on Active and Healthy, visit our information for exercise program providers.
