Program Details

This class provides gentle exercise in a fun, safe and effective way.

There are modifications available for most people; people using walkers or are in a wheelchair can access this class.

The class includes -  co-ordination, strength, flexibility, and mobility.

Dance moves are used, however, you do not need to be able to dance, nor do you require a partner.

Dance is an effective way to challenge the brain, connect to music, and develop coordination.

Resistance bands are used to build strength as well as to assist with stretching. None of the exercises are done on the floor.

$10.00 per class/visit

Target Age:

65 Plus, 50yrs+

Participants who would not be suitable for the program:

Each person requires a letter from their GP or specialist to say they are suitable to join a gentle exercise class

Special requirements or conditions:

Wear pants and supportive shoes and bring water

Minimum Experience:

Beginner

Leader Qualifications

Fitness Leader - Accredited

Fitness Leader - Cert III.

Fitness Leader - Cert IV

Fitness Leader (Cert 4 Accredited or Registered)

Fitness Leader - Registered
