Program details
Tai Chi is a gentle exercise that can improve balance and is easy for any level of fitness. This Tai Chi class is suitable for everyone and is an excellent option for older adults.
Led by a trained volunteer, these classes are ideal for beginners or people who have done Tai Chi before.

Participants who would not be suitable for the program:
1. Has your doctor ever told you, you have a heart condition?
2. Have you ever suffered a stroke?
3. Do you have unexplained pains in your chest?
4. Do you ever feel faint or experience dizzy spells while exercising?
5. Have you had an asthma attack in the last 12 months that required immediate medical attention?
6. Do you have diabetes and have trouble controlling your blood glucose?
7. Do you have diagnosed joint problems or have you had a joint replacement or shoulder reconstruction in the past 6 months?
8. Do you have any other conditions that might make it unwise to participate in physical activity/exercise?
If you answered YES to any of these questions pleased get a written clearance from your GP or relevant health professional before joining the class.
Special requirements or conditions:
wear comfortable clothing, flat enclosed shoes and bring a water bottle
