Program Details

Strength & Balance is designed to strengthen the body and mind: 

  • Warm-up with fun light and simple movements.
  • Strengthen upper and lower body using no weights and light weights.
  • Building confidence in balance & posture exercises learning about Falls Prevention.
  • Cool-down with mindful stretching and relaxation.

Note: Please arrive 10-15 minutes early to sign attendance sheet and enable to start on time, thank you.

Program is not suitable for people with dementia/ cognitive impairment.

Special requirements or conditions:

Bring your own towel, water bottle, hand sanitiser / hand wipes / *masks (*if desired)

Dance Instructor

Fitness Leader - Accredited

Fitness Leader - Cert III.

Registered LHD Physical Activity Volunteer

Volunteer leader/trainer
