Program Details

Strength for Life is an evidence-based program that encourages and supports change in the health and fitness sectors to achieve improved health, quality of life and fitness for older adults.

The program seeks to maximise opportunities for people to engage in affordable, high-quality, results-oriented strength. Endorsed Strength for Life centres such as us (Activ8 Health Club) only use instructors who have completed this course, and it is the industry's best training for implementing progressive strength training programs for older people.

Opening Hours:

The Active8 Ageing & Falls Prevention Classes are available throughout the week and additional classes are to be set soon so please confirm directly with us:

 

Current Class Times are as follows;

 

Mondays: 9:30-10:15am

Tuesdays: 9-9:45am & 10:45am – 11:45am

Wednesday: 10:45am – 11:45am

Thursdays: 9-9:45am & 10:45am – 11:45am

Fridays: 10:45am – 11:45am

 

Additional session days and times will become available if increased demands to ensure small groups are maintained for the highest possible services and safety

Exercise physiologists & Physiotherapists will administer all sessions. Patients are required to book an Initial Assessment before attending the group sessions, which can be done online via this link (https://rb.gy/nsooma), by contacting our club at (02) 8544 0487 or info@activ8.club

$33 casual (free with allied health membership)(claimable via Health Funds) per class/visit
