Program details

Liverpool Seniors Well-being and Social Club is a FREE weekly club running on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from 10:00am-11:45am during school term.

From 10:00am-11:00am enjoy a range of activities from yoga, gentle exercise with exercise physiologists, tai chi, art classes, dance classes, meditation, yoga, health information sessions, technology classes and guest speakers. Free self-serve tea and coffee is provided afterwards. Please bring a Keep Cup and you are welcome to bring snacks to share if you wish.

This program is delivered by Collective Leisure, a social enterprise, in partnership with Liverpool City Council, South Western Sydney Local Health District, and the Chi Chinese Healing College.

The program aims to reduce social isolation and improve well-being for over-65s and over-50s from Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander backgrounds in the Liverpool LGA.

Opening hours:

Days: Tuesday, Thursday and Friday during school term.

Time: 10:00am-11:00am exercise class / 11:00am-11:45am social gathering and refreshments.

Program runs three times a week in Term 1 2025 with breaks for school holidays.

Some instructors are multilingual (Arabic)

Participants who would not be suitable for the program:

Everyone is welcome but some activities may not be suitable, these can be modified in most cases.

Special requirements or conditions:

Bring a medical clearance from your doctor if you have any conditions that may be aggravated by physical activity.
