Program details

Welcome!

This program is set to specific music to match each section of the session. It has been designed to promote a healthy wellbeing, by helping you to keep fit & active with low-impact cardio levels, encouraging upper-body strength, as well as developing & improving Left & Right Brain coordination, all incorporating simple & fun exercises.

A primary focus is on Breath-Heart-Strength-Balance, from chair-to stand-to chair, or you can remain seated, in accordance with your personal physical capabilities. You will be brought back to Breath throughout the Session.

Commencing with a gentle Breath-centred warm-up while seated & gradually raising the Heart-rate for exercise, we move onto coordination exercises for Left & Right Brain function. We progress to preparing the leg muscles, tendons & ligaments for standing, using your chair as support where required, to prepare for the simple dance steps.

*You are encouraged to listen to your body & sit when necessary - the movements can still be achieved with 'chair-dancing'.

Once the dance section is complete, we take a moment to stand (or sit), relax the body & breathe, bringing the Heart-rate back to a resting pace, then we move on to the relaxing warm-down, for the completion of the session.

This unique program is therapeutic, healing, energising, strengthening, empowering, motivating, & fun!
