Program details

We provide community group exercise classes across the Eastern Surburbs of Sydney. Our classes are an affordable option for seniors looking to join group exercise classes. We have recently taken over the community group classes that the Prince Of Wales Hospital used to run.

This class is run at the Bowen Library and runs for 45-60 minutes.

StediStrong class is a registered falls prevention class designed to improve your strength, balance, endurance and mobility.

These group sessions provide a structured, supportive environment where participants can work at their own pace, focusing on improving fitness levels and preventing injuries.

Opening hours:

Classes run on 5x 10 week terms (50 weeks of the year), on:

1. Monday 10:30am and 11:30am
2. Thursday 4pm and 5pm
3. Friday 9:30am, 10:30am and 11:30am

Cost:

Annual - Pay for a whole year (5x 10 week terms): $550 for the year<br />
Direct Debit - Pay per term with subscription auto-renewing each term: $120 per term<br />
Manual - Register and pay each term: $130 per term

Participants who would not be suitable for the program:

Those who need carers to assist them during day to day activities and transfers will require a carer during the session.

Special requirements or conditions:

Participants will require their own hand weights and resistance bands, and a mat if they wish to do exercises on the floor.<br />
