Better Ageing Strength for Life - Term 1 2026
Aim for an active and healthy lifestyle and join the Active Parramatta Van for Better Ageing Strength for Life!
This full body 45 minute workout is designed to improve your overall strength with a range of exercises working your legs, back, chest, forearms and core. This program utilises periodisation techniques to ensure that your strength progresses over time and you can challenge yourself as we move through the 8 weeks.
All equipment is provided. Modifications to exercises will be provided to cater for different fitness levels.

Please note you do not need to reside in the Parramatta LGA to attend our classes.

Participants who would not be suitable for the program:
Everyone is welcome as long as they have exercise clearance form their GP, they are welcome to join our Better Ageing Programs. Programs/exercises can be modified to accommodate to the needs and limitations of a participant.
Special requirements or conditions:
Closed shoes, comfortable clothing they can easily move in.

John Curtin Meeting Room has free street parking on Huxley Drive. From the street it is a short walk through the park to access the entrance. There are stairs or a ramp leading to the front door.
