Program details

Stepping On is a seven-week group-based program designed for people who are living at home and have experienced a fall or are concerned about falling.

Stepping On is free for adults over the age of 65 years or Aboriginal adults over the age of 45 years. 

It covers a range of issues, including falls and risk, strength and balance exercises, home hazards, safe footwear, vision and falls, safety in public places and community mobility. The program is delivered in weekly two-hour sessions for seven weeks.

Thursdays 2:00pm to 4:00pm

Starting Thursday 19 June 2025 for 7 consecutive weeks. Call to register for the program.

Participants who would not be suitable for the program:

Progressive neurological conditions, dementia and neuromuscular conditions

Minimum experience:

Beginner

Leader qualifications:

Occupational Therapist

Physiotherapist
