Program details
Falls are preventable - and confidence is key. Stepping On is a proven, 7-week workshop that empowers older adults to take control of their health and reduce their risk of falling.
Through expert guidance, peer support, and practical strategies, participants learn how to improve balance, strength and safety at home and in the community.
Whether you have had a fall or just want to stay active and independent, Stepping On gives you the tools to keep moving confidently.
Opening hours:
Stepping On program runs for seven consecutive weeks (two hours, once a week, for seven weeks).

Cost:
Participation in the Stepping On program can be accessible through My Aged Care funding.
If you do not have current My Aged Care funding, please contact us for independent pricing.
Target age:
65 Plus
Participants who would not be suitable for the program:
- Under 65 years of age
- Living in residential aged care or group home
- Frequent and reliant use of four-wheeled walker
- Cognitive impairment (ie. difficulties with memory, concentration and decision making)
- Diagnosis of neurodegenerative condition (eg. Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, or Huntington's disease)
- Unable to attend 5 or more sessions
Special requirements or conditions:
Comfortable clothing and secure footwear for exercise and movement recommended

Beginner
Leader qualifications:
Occupational Therapist
