Program details

MoveWell Exercise Classes are run by Physiotherapists who work in aged care and rehabilitation.

The classes run for 45 minutes and incorporate strength, balance and mobility exercises.

Our Physiotherapists will adapt the exercises to suit you and have vast knowledge when it comes to many medical conditions like osteoarthritis and osteoporosis and joint replacements.

The first class is free.

Opening hours:

Friday

1. 9:30am to 10:00am
2. 10:00am to 10:45am

Classes run all year round except for 2 weeks over Christmas and New Year's.

No set terms. You chose when you want to start and finish your program with us to work around your schedule. We also offer make up classes if you purchase the 6 or 12 week pack.

Cost:

First class free
Casual class: $30 per class/visit
6 week class pack: $25 per class/week when you purchase a 6 week class pack
12 week class pack: $20 per class/week when you purchase a 12 week class pack (comes with free exercise bag)
Private health insurance rebates apply if you have extras cover

Target age:

60 Plus

Participants who would not be suitable for the program:

Carer required for clients who are unable to stand unsupported or unable to follow instructions

Special requirements or conditions:

Please bring a bottle of water and wear comfortable clothing
