Program details

Our specialised program-based hydrotherapy classes are built and designed around your specific needs. This class runs for 45 minutes in a control temperature hydrotherapy pool, located within the Port Macquarie Private Hospital.

This class is run by our Physiotherapist and Exercise Physiologists, where an assessment is completed prior to commencing the class, so we can ensure you are working towards your needs and goals in life, to ensure you are building strength, balance and mobility.

Participants are required to complete a initial assessment prior to classes which is conducted at Hastings Health Centre, 14 Parker Street, Port Macquarie (Yellow house on the corner of Savoy and Parker Street)

Please note: a GP referral is required for each individual prior to stepping in the pool

Participants who would not be suitable for the program:

Patients must not have incontinence issues or blood pressure issues
A clearance letter from your GP is essential prior to entering the hydrotherapy pool.

Special requirements or conditions:

Patients are required to wear non slip footwear around the pool edge.
Shower on the pool deck prior to and vacating the pool.
Patients are required to wear swimwear and provide their own towel.
