Program details

Strength for Life is a small-group progressive resistance training program designed to build muscle strength, balance, and functional independence in a safe and supportive environment.

Delivered by university-qualified trainers, the program combines structured resistance exercises using Keiser pneumatic machines, free weights, and cables to progressively challenge major muscle groups while minimising joint stress.

Participants train in a purpose-built facility designed for mature adults, featuring easy-access equipment, supportive flooring, spacious layouts, and a calm, welcoming environment tailored for safety and long-term health.

Each participant completes a baseline strength assessment, receives an individualised training plan, and tracks progress through the Healthspan training app, which records loads, exercise performance, and ongoing improvements.

Each class runs for 30 minutes, and participants are encouraged to attend at least two sessions per week for optimal results. Sessions include a warm-up, structured resistance training, and a cool-down to support recovery and mobility.
