"I retired when I was 65, I was 100kg, I needed knee replacements and I was pre-diabetic, I was going to acupuncture and always icing my knees. "

I knew I needed to do something because my health really needed to be addressed. I started going to the gym, very casual at first. I was never in a gym before: I now go 5 times a week and now I love it.

I have lost 12kgs, I haven’t had knee surgery and I am pain free, my blood sugar levels have dropped and I am no longer pre-diabetic.  I am sleeping better and I am certainly in better health than I ever was.

My advice to others: I recommend it to anyone, it doesn’t matter how old you are.
